  Hier finden Sie die Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen von TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger. Bitte lesen Sie diese! Sie gelten als Bestandteil aller unseren Geschäftsbedingungen und können gern ausdruckt oder gespeichert werden. 

1.     Geltung
Der Zweck dieser Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen ist es, die rechtlichen Beziehungen zwischen TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger und dem Kunden zu bilden. Sie sind Bestandteil jedes Vertrags über den Erwerb von Sprachdienstleistungen. 

2.     Allgemein
TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger ist ein Anbieter verschiedener Sprachdienstleistungen. Der Zweck dieser Website ist es, potenzielle Kunden mit professionellen Übersetzern und Sprachlehrern zusammenzubringen und über einen Blog interessante Neuigkeiten und Informationen zur Übersetzungsbranche und zu Übersetzungstheorien bereitzustellen.

3.   Vertragsschluss

       Auf Grundlage der vom Kunden für die jeweilige Sprachdienstleistung bereitgestellten Informationen und Daten erhält der Kunde ein schriftliches Angebot von TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger. Je nach Art der Dienstleistung kann dieses Angebot einen Festpreis, einen Stundensatz oder einen Preis pro Wort enthalten. Der Dienstleistungsvertrag tritt mit der Annahme dieses Angebots und seiner genauen Bedingungen durch den Kunden in Kraft. In jedem Fall gilt der Vertrag nur für die vereinbarte Dienstleistung. TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger behält sich das Recht vor, Aufträge abzulehnen oder deren Ausführung nach Beginn zu verweigern. Dies gilt insbesondere für Fälle, in denen Texte mit antidemokratischem, rassistischem, frauenfeindlichem oder minderheitenfeindlichem, kriminellem usw. Inhalt zu bearbeiten sind, sowie wenn die Erwartungen an die Textbearbeitung oder das Lernen innerhalb eines bestimmten Zeitraums in einer angemessenen, branchenüblichen Qualität nicht erfüllt werden können. Sollte der Kunde die Verwendung bzw. das Aneignen einer bestimmten Fachterminologie, Fachsprache oder besonderer Lieferbedingungen wünschen, müssen diese vor Vertragsabschluss angegeben/mitgeteilt werden. Nicht Bestandteil des Vertrages ist die Beglaubigung, Texterfassung, Formatierungs- oder Konvertierungsarbeiten sowie Satz- und Druckleistungen. Zusatzkosten können für Expressbearbeitungen oder die Erstellung und/oder Pflege von Terminologiedatenbanken oder Glossaren anfallen.

4.     Leistungsumfang

      a) Übersetzungen

       (i) TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger erbringt Übersetzungsdienstleistungen gemäß den jeweils mit jedem Kunden individuell vereinbarten Konditionen. Sofern keine abweichenden Vereinbarungen getroffen werden, wird dem Kunden eine professionelle Übersetzung zur Verfügung gestellt. TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger verpflichtet sich, einen vom Kunden bereitgestellten Text fachgerecht und inhaltlich korrekt in die vereinbarte(n) Zielsprache(n) zu übertragen oder durch qualifizierte Dritten übertragen zu lassen. Dabei wird gewährleistet, dass die Übersetzung vollständig erfolgt und keine inhaltlichen Änderungen vorgenommen werden. Unabhängig vom Inhalt wird die Übersetzung den Zweck und die Aussage des Ausgangstexts (AT) entweder wörtlich oder sinngemäß sowie unter Berücksichtigung kultureller und sprachlicher Besonderheiten erstellt. Maßgeblich sind die allgemein und aktuell anerkannten Qualitätsstandards der Übersetzungsbranche im jeweiligen Sprachraum.

      ii)  TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger behält sich das Recht vor, bei der Erbringung von Übersetzungsdienstleistungen qualifizierte externe Übersetzungsanbietern zu beauftragen. Diese werden von TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger stets sorgfältig nach ihren Fachgebieten, Erfahrungen und persönlichen Fähigkeiten ausgesucht. Trotzdem besteht dieser Vertrag ausschließlich zwischen TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger und dem Kunden. Diese werden stets sorgfältig  ausgewählt. 

      iii) TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger übermittelt dem Kunden die fertige Übersetzung in der jeweils vereinbarten Form meistens über Email. Sofern keine abweichenden Vereinbarungen getroffen werden, umfasst der Leistungsumfang ausschließlich die Übersetzungsleistung. Nach Lieferung der Übersetzung (Datum der Email) hat der Kunde eine Frist von 10 Werktagen, um Beanstandungen (nachvollziehbare Fehler in der Übertragung) geltend zu machen oder stilistische Verbesserungen zu verlangen. Wenn nicht anders vereinbart, wird TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger dann alle Korrekturen innerhalb von 5 Werktagen vornehmen. Alle Übersetzungsarbeiten müssen vom Kunden bezahlt werden, auch wenn sie beanstandet werden. Alle vom Kunden gewünschten Korrekturen und Änderungen werden ohne zusätzliche Kosten vorgenommen.

      (iv) Bei der Erteilung eines Übersetzungsauftrags verpflichtet sich der Kunde, TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger ausdrücklich über den Verwendungszweck der Übersetzung zu informieren. Soll der übersetzte Text gedruckt und extern verbreitet werden, hat der Kunde vor dem Druck einen separaten Korrektor zu beauftragen. TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger übernimmt außerdem keine Verantwortung für Fehler in den vom Kunden zur Übersetzung bereitgestellten Texten.

10.  Datenschutz
TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger erhebt, speichert, verarbeitet und übermittelt die personenbezogenen Daten zur Abwicklung der Sprachdienstleistungen und zu eigenen statistischen Zwecken. 

11.  Salvatorische Klausel
Im Falle, dass eine Bestimmung dieser Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen unwirksam oder nichtig wird, berührt diese nicht die übrigen Bestimmungen. Die unwirksame oder nichtige Bestimmung ist durch eine den wirtschaftlichen Interessen der Vertragspartner entsprechende zu ersetzen.

12.  Inkrafttreten
Diese Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen treten zum 01.09.2025 in Kraft.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Scope

The purpose of these General Terms and Conditions is to establish the legal relationship between TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger and the Customer/Client. These form an integral part of every contract for the acquisition of all language services.

2. General

TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger is a provider of various language services. The purpose of this website is to connect potential clients with professional translators and language teachers and to provide interesting news and information about the translation industry and translation theories via a blog.

3. Contract conclusion

Based on the information and data provided by the Client for any respective language service, the Client will receive a written quote from TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger. Depending on the type of service, this quotation may reflect a fixed price, an hourly rate, or a price per word. The service contract becomes effective upon the client’s acceptance of this quotation and its specific terms and conditions. In each case, the contract applies only to the service agreed upon. TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger reserves the right to reject or to refuse (completion of) any commission. This applies in particular to texts for translation or editing/proofreading which contain anti-democratic, racist, misogynistic, or minority-hostile, criminal, etc. content, as well as when the text processing cannot reasonably be met within a certain period of time in an appropriate industry-standard quality. Should the Client require the use of specific terminology or particular delivery conditions for translation or proofreading work, these must be provided/communicated prior to the conclusion of the contract. Certification, text writing, formatting, or conversion work, as well as typesetting and printing services, are not included in the contract. Additional costs may be incurred for express processing or the creation and/or maintenance of terminology databases or glossaries.

4. Scope of services

a)   Translations

(i) TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger provides translation services in accordance with the terms and conditions agreed individually with each client. Unless otherwise agreed, the Client will be provided with a professional and accurate translation. TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger shall undertake to translate any text provided by the Client into the agreed target language(s) or to have it translated by qualified third parties. In doing so, the translation shall be complete and without changes made to the transferred content. The translation—regardless of its content—will be produced in a manner that is either literal or faithful to the meaning of the source text (ST), taking into account any cultural and linguistic characteristics. The generally and currently recognised quality standards of the translation industry in the respective language area shall apply.

ii) TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger reserves the right to commission qualified external translation providers for the provision of translation services. These are always carefully selected by TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger according to their areas of expertise, experience, and personal skills. Nevertheless, this contract exists exclusively between TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger and the Client. 

(iii) After delivery of the translation, the Client shall have a period of 10 working days (from the date of the email) to make any complaints (errors in transfer, spelling, dates, names, etc.) or to request any stylistic improvements. Requests for correction or improvement are to be submitted in writing.  TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger shall then perform any corrections and/or changes within three (3) working days. All translation work must be paid by the Client. Corrections and requested changes will be performed at no extra cost. 

(iv)  Upon placing a translation order, the Client undertakes to inform TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger specifically about the purpose of the translation. The Client is to ensure that  TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger is provided with the source text in a clear and legible format (in either Word or PDF format) as well as all necessary materials, glossaries, background information, inhouse terms, illustrations/drawings, etc to fulfill the translation accordingly. TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger shall not be held liable for any errors in the translated text that arise from a lack of support materials. If the translated text is to be printed and externally disseminated, the Client shall commission a separate proofreader prior to printing. TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger accepts no responsibility for any mistakes, either grammatical or lingual, in the text for translation provided by the Client. 

(b) Proofreading

(vii) TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger provides native-language proofreading and editing services in accordance with the individual terms and conditions agreed with each client. TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger shall undertake to proofread/edit any native-language text provided by the Client or to have it proofread/edited by qualified third parties.

(viii)  TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger reserves the right to commission qualified proofreaders/editors for the provision of proofreading/editing services. These are always carefully selected by TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger according to their areas of expertise, experience, and personal skills. This contract, however, exists exclusively between TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger and the Client.

(ix)  The Client is to ensure that  TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger is provided with the native-language text in a clear and legible correctable format (in either Word or PDF format) as well as all necessary materials, glossaries, background information, in-house terms, illustrations/drawings, etc to appropriately fulfill the commission. TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger shall not be held liable for any errors/ommissions in the proofread/edited text arising from a lack of support materials.

(x)  After delivery of the proofread/edited text, the Client shall have a period of 10 working days (from the date of the email) to make any complaints or to request any stylistic improvements. Requests for correction or improvement are to be submitted in writing.  TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger shall then perform any corrections and/or changes within three (3) working days. All proofreading/editing work must be paid by the Client. Corrections and requested changes will be performed at no extra cost.

(c) Language courses

(xi) TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger provides language courses in English and German in accordance with the individual terms and conditions agreed with each client. All language courses can be one-on-one or group courses and are held at the Client’s premises or via an online medium, e.g. Zoom or Teams.

(xii)  A language skill assessment test is to be completed by the Client/group participants. A course plan will be derived according to the language level determined through the results of this assessment test. Unless otherwise agreed, participants of the same language level shall form a homogenous course group.

(xiii)  One lesson hour is the equivalent of 45 minutes. Unless otherwise agreed, all language courses shall run for 20 lesson hours and are subject to renewal upon request. Courses can run on a weekly, bi-weekly or daily basis. Depending on the course level, either books and/or free materials may be employed. All language courses include oral and audio practice, as well as the acquisition of grammar and vocabulary. A 20-hour language course may also entail approximately two (2) hours of self-study.

(xiv) TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger reserves the right to commission qualified language teachers to provide language courses. These are always carefully selected by TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger according to their areas of expertise, experience, and personal skills. This contract, however, exists exclusively between TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger and the Client.

(ix) Should the Client request an industry-specific language course, s/he is to  provide TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger with all necessary materials, glossaries, background information, in-house terms, illustrations/drawings, etc to appropriately fulfill the commission

5. Data protection

 TR-UE TRANSLATIONS by Tyrone Rontganger may collect, store, process and transmit any personal data for the purpose of processing any language services as well as for its own statistics. For further information, please visit our page on data protection here. 

6. Severability clause

In the event that any provision of these General Terms and Conditions becomes invalid or void, this shall not affect the remaining provisions. The invalid or void provision shall be replaced by a provision that corresponds to the economic interests of the contracting parties.

• Applicability

These General Terms and Conditions shall apply as of 1 September 2025.
